About this opportunity

<p>MINDS Weekday Hub-Based Volunteers support activities at MINDS centres for adults with intellectual disability, including Project Engage, morning walks and recreational programmes. Training is provided by MINDS Training Officers and volunteers work alongside staff to support clients during weekday sessions.</p> <ul> <li>Minimum age 16; volunteers should come with an open mind to serve clients and learn from staff</li> <li>Weekday sessions at MINDS centres; typical commitment is a few hours between 10:30am and 3:30pm (times depend on hub)</li> <li>Activities include Project Engage, morning walks, and other recreational and community programmes</li> <li>Opportunities sit under the broader Service-Based track on the MINDS volunteer programme alongside befriending, home-based support and hub help</li> </ul> <p>To register, complete the volunteer sign-up form linked on the MINDS volunteer page.</p>
