<p>Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) welcomes student and school-group volunteers to support its services for seniors, children, families and people in need across Singapore. MWS offers seven types of volunteer experiences across five impact areas, ranging from befriending and outings to structured activity facilitation and community outreach.</p><ul><li>Open to students; group volunteering available for schools and corporates</li><li>Project-based or regular participation — befriender roles at Active Ageing Centres are a 6-month commitment, while many activities are ad hoc or tied to school holidays</li><li>VIA hours available for school groups</li><li>MWS provides volunteer training to build befriending skills and awareness of beneficiary needs</li></ul><p>Individuals register through the MWS volunteer portal; school and group coordinators can email volunteer@mws.sg to arrange a visit or project.</p>
