<p>Research@YDSP is a mentored research attachment offered under the Defence Science and Technology Agency's Young Defence Scientists Programme (YDSP). Students work on real-world defence-science projects alongside engineers, software developers, cybersecurity experts and research scientists from DSTA and DSO National Laboratories.</p> <ul> <li>Aimed at Singapore secondary and JC students with a strong interest in science, mathematics and engineering.</li> <li>Projects span advanced physical sciences, infocomm technology, cybersecurity and other fields critical to Singapore's defence.</li> <li>Mentored by serving DSTA and DSO researchers and engineers.</li> <li>Completed projects are showcased at the annual YDSP Congress, where students present their work.</li> <li>No fee; participants are not bonded.</li> </ul> <p>To apply, students contact the DSTA YDSP team at ydsp@dsta.gov.sg or enquire through their school's talent development / outreach coordinator.</p>
