About this opportunity

<p>The Model Parliament is a three-hour post-secondary programme run by Defence Collective Singapore at the Singapore Discovery Centre. Students role-play as Ministers or Members of Parliament, debate a motion, and vote on it, gaining hands-on insight into Singapore's parliamentary process and policymaking trade-offs.</p><ul><li>Duration: 3 hours, inclusive of a break.</li><li>Group size: minimum 70, maximum 120 participants; booked by schools.</li><li>Includes a guided tour of the Permanent Exhibits Gallery on Singapore's principles of governance.</li><li>Students learn debate protocols, draft speeches, lobby peers, and hold a final vote on the motion.</li><li>Complimentary bus transport is available, subject to terms and conditions.</li></ul><p>Schools can enquire via the Defence Collective Singapore website to arrange a session.</p>
