<p>The DBS Foundation x NEA Hungry for Change Challenge is a national competition that invites Singapore tertiary students and recent alumni to develop and pilot innovative solutions to reduce food and packaging waste. Run by DBS Foundation in partnership with the National Environment Agency (NEA), recent editions have included corporate partners such as Koufu, McDonald's, and The Social Kitchen who co-develop the challenge problem statements.</p><ul><li>Open to current students and recent alumni (graduated after 1 January 2019) from Singapore IHLs — ITE, polytechnic, undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes</li><li>Each team must have at least four members, with at least one current student or recent alumni</li><li>Up to 5 winning teams receive funding from DBS Foundation to pilot their solutions with a corporate partner</li><li>Winners also receive mentorship from DBS, NEA, and partner organisations</li><li>Two evaluation rounds: Qualifier (up to 15 teams) and Pitch Day (up to 10 teams)</li><li>Judging criteria: Innovation (20%), Feasibility & Scalability (20%), Implementation (30%), Impact (30%)</li></ul><p>Watch the DBS Foundation page for the next edition's open call and information sessions.</p>
