About this opportunity

<p>The Creative Arts Programme (CAP) is a national creative writing programme organised by the Gifted Education Branch of Singapore's Ministry of Education. It consists of an intensive Creative Arts Seminar during the June holidays, followed by an optional nine-month mentorship attachment with a local writer for selected participants.</p> <ul> <li>Selected students attend the Seminar in the first week of the June holidays, with creative writing workshops, plenary lectures, performance workshops and enrichment sessions.</li> <li>Participants who show commitment and potential may apply for a nine-month mentorship under a published Singaporean author.</li> <li>Mentorship participants' works are published in the annual literary anthology <em>Eye on the World</em>.</li> <li>Separate application tracks exist for Secondary students and JC/Pre-U students.</li> <li>Applications are routed through students' schools during MOE's published window.</li> </ul> <p>Current dates and eligibility details are listed on the official CAP site.</p>
